Sasha Gareau & Sherry Grassadonia

Who Are We?

We are the mother and daughter team of Sherry Grassadonia & Sasha Gareau. Sherry's hudsband, John can often be seen around as well.

We are new to Old Town Elk Grove, but not new to the landscape. Sherry Grassadonia, formerly Sherry Gareau, was the creator and owner of a similar style store in the 80's located in Downtown Lodi, CA known as "Fancywork Gifts".

Sasha, growing up in the store, grew to love retail. After studying business and fashion merchandising.....she worked as a visual display manager for a larger department store & managed several women's apparel stores. Prior to moving to Elk Grove she was the apparel and gift buyer for Stanford University Bookstores.

After leaving the Lodi area, Sherry moved to Aptos, remarried her childhood sweetheart and began working for Beverly Fabrics. There she spent 14 years and left as the VP of Leadership Development to move to Elk Grove.

Sasha used to say to Sherry quite often....."Mom, we sure need a unique little shop in Elk Grove, like the one we used to have."

We put our thoughts together and decided, with John's encouragement, to look for a place to lease. The very week that the decision was made, we drove through Old Town and discovered the perfect location in the cutest little blue house! The next week brought the Gift shows and the three of us were on our way.

John named the store "One to Another" and Sherry added, The Art of Giving.......

It's been non stop since then!
